I want in what follows to be a chronicled but also "planned" program of self-development, one that by intention, and by design, is both a framework and a working document. This document is designed to supplement and to extend the other documents, essays and actions noted and chronicled elsewhere in both the personal and professional artifacts of the Author’s life.
In spelling out this document, it is to both externalize internal plans and wishes, but also to try to relieve the burden of carrying it in the Mind, and also to offer some concrete commitments and tangibly expressed goals that can be referred to and measured against. That said, as this is much a document that is about future plans and wishes, as well as a journaling of an ever receding present, imperfectly, of actual actions and goals met, or not; it will not be taken to be something binding in the way a contract is, but rather as an ever-present effort to make more explicit what is only expressed in vocalized words scattered through the Author's Life, and to as they say: just do it. And to make the effort, that there will always be some progress; hopefully of the sort that evolves into becoming more efficient, focused and actualizing a life the Author actually enjoys.
Outline:
Two tracks: Personal and Professional
--Refresh the foundations of what I know: in light of what I don't remember, and to re-learn what I didn't know, or what I never bothered to learn properly.
--Learn new things, things that are both interesting, and things that would be in service of things I want to know, or that help to supplement a skill or talent.
--Write and read more, but also "better"
--Physical skills and learning: gym, dance, something applied like Martial Arts or something
--Financial education and apply that learning
--General self-help and improvement, in mindset and life philosophy/psychology.
